How to Book This Space
Anyone can request a reservation at the Oberlin ‘Sco. To do so, you must fill out a Dionysus Disco Reservation Form. You can download and print the form below, or pick up a copy in the Student Union Office, Wilder 111. Completed forms can be submitted to Wilder 111, and are reviewed on Monday each week by the Scheduling Committee.
The ‘Sco is open to booking a variety of events, including dance nights, concerts*, fundraisers**, student performances, craft nights, game shows, and anything else you might want to do! General questions about event requests can be emailed to sco@oberlin.edu.
*For events which require sound system usage beyond our normal setup (which includes a very basic mixer, connected via aux cord), you must submit a concert sound request in advance. The form for this can be found below as well. Please be aware of your event budget when submitting these requests, as concert sound services can be expensive depending on the type of equipment your event requires. Note that Concert Sound requests submitted 14 days or fewer before an event are subject to progressive late fees in addition to regular service charges. If you have an idea for a concert but aren’t sure how to go about contacting the artist, please get in touch with SUPC, the Student Union Programming Committee, they would love to help! SUPC members’ contact information can be found on the front page of this site.
**Fundraisers require a special request form, which can be found below. Fundraiser scheduling forms should be submitted no more than 45 days in advance.
To select a date for your event, please check Oberlin College’s Virtual EMS for days which do not already have scheduled events. More information on the EMS can be found here: https://www.oberlin.edu/student-union/concert. The ‘Sco is regularly open Monday through Saturday (Mon and Tue 9:30pm - Midnight, Wed - Sat 10pm - 1am), though some special events may be scheduled on Sundays.

In Wilder Basement: Small grab-and-go cafe with snacks, drinks, and premade sandwiches (open until midnight, Mon - Sat), Men’s, Women’s, Individual, and wheelchair accessible restrooms, ATM located by the mail room.
